Hi, Les Jensen, organiser and trail boss of Aussie Quad Adventures. I started with trail bikes in the 70’s, riding observed trials and graduated to Enduro style bikes a bit later. I was one of the original members of R.T.C.B. I rode Enduro for some 20 years, rode Nindigully Enduro for about 10 years. At age 50, I retired from competition.
I started charity events for SIDS and Kids Queensland and started SIDS Motorcycle Treks, which went on for several years. We have been to Cameron Corner on 10-day rides and recently Cape York on 10-day rides with motorcycles and now I am concentrating on Quad Rides to Cape York hence starting Aussie Quad Adventures.
I recently completed a Stephen Gall Quad Instructors course, an MA Trail Boss course and a Ride Secretary and Clerk and Stewards course. I also hold a Suitability Positive Blue Card and have been a Justice of the Peace for some 20 years.
Our nominated charity is now Abused Child Trust Inc. We donate 10% of NETT proceeds to this worthwhile cause. Our main objective on these rides is safety. We are insured by ‘Motorcycling Queensland’ and run under their guidelines to ensure all parties have insurance coverage.

Event Marshall
Bob Morgan Ex-world champion speed car driver now enjoying retirement has taken it upon himself to assist us in his role as Event Marshall. Bob rode Enduro for some 20 years and was a successful Can-am BRP dealer in Brisbane for many years. We welcome Bob’s input and his experience. He assists us with a safer environment for riders. Bob also have completed a MA Trail Boss Course.
Lead Rider
Adrian Knight is born and bred in North Queensland. Cooktown in the Cape York area has been his backyard for many years. He has a reputation for reliability a friendship with Far North Queensland Tribal Elders. Hence, getting access for our rides, which would not normally be available to traverse. We are very fortunate to have Adrian to assist to make these rides the success that they have become.
Technical Advisor and Trouble Shooter
Geoff Udy is a well known motorcycle dealer and dirt shifter. He has generousley decided to give us his time and vast knowledge in relation to Quad bikes to assist with our events. Qualified Mechanic
Colin Lawson is a qualified Motorcycle Mechanic, qualified Motor Mechanic and Automotive Engineer. He has supported tours a professional tour guide (with bike ride Australia) during 2000 - 2003. He is Can-am dealer, owner operator of Extreme Motorcycles. Colin has been a support rider for Can-am during Finke Desert race, Alice Springs. He rides a heavily modified renegade 800 X.
